Volunteers Arrival and Visitors
Begining of February started the volunteers arrival. Some of them just came for a month and are soon to live. Jeanine Morack is a carpenter from Germany who help us in the house construction.
Living in our New Home!!!
Since November 29th, 2008 we are living in our new home. Still there is lot to be built for finishing the house. We are camping in our tents meantime dormitories are ready and it's exciting...
Building an Alternative Dream
Since mid-February we started building a cherished dream "Our Home". We will live better and will have the ideal space for new and better productions of the core group.
Fellow traveller of our exchange program
Together with the school ensemble will also travel to Europe Costarrican young performer Armando Vega (aged 16). He is participant of a circus project in Costa Rica that is supported by us.
Armando spent some months in Granada and showed a lot of dedication and talent, so that we invited him to share this experience with us.
During our visit to Switzerland we will meet the rest of the kids of this circus project at Wunderplunder Circus in Schuepfen (July 17th.) Whom will also be touring France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany during July.
New property
Mid-November finally the new property was bought with the support of EEF (Equal Education Found Switzerland). The 3600 square meters sized estate is located at the periphery of Granada with a view at the Vulcan Mombacho and the city center with the cathedral. With the help of the town twinning project Frankfurt-Granada will be constructed a cultural centre building where children of the surrounding barrios (suburbs) will have the chance to take classes in performing and visual arts: theatre, mime, circus, dance, puppets, painting, design, etc.
Introduction of the group online
From now on you can find here a new page, where each one of the advanced youngsters of the project is introduced.
These youngsters are the muliplicators of the project - now and in the future in the cultural center that is emerging. They are teaching juggling, acrobatics and the secrets of wizardry and comedy to younger kids.

Inauguration Party
On Saturday the 9th of December the inauguration of the new property of the “Escuela de comedia y el mimo” was celebrated. Next to the youngsters’ families and friends the embassadors of Venezuela and Cuba were invited to welcome the new area with a large Christmas dinner.
The whole week everybody was busy with preparing the 3600 sqm for the Party. So moreover cutting grass and trees with the machete they were also using the wooden spoon to cook different delicious food. Beside the Hallacas (corn delicacy from Venezuela) potato salad and onion tart was offered.
Tour to Costa Rica
From January 20th to February 5th the Escuela left for Costa Rica to participate in a festival of arts at the finca de Longo Maï where national (Alajuela, San José, Nicoya, San Isidro) and international artists (Nicaragua, Germany, Austria, Venezuela and others) were invited.
