Social movement for construction of the Alternative University of the South (Universidad Alternativa del Sur-UNIALSUR) has sent us an invitation to participate in an “Encounter with François Houtart: in the South ideas are being born, alternatives grow”, in celebration of the establishment of the Cultural Association Committee of UNIALSUR where the School of Comedy and Mime is one its projects.

François Houtart is emeritus professor of Lovaina Catholic University, director of Tricontinental Centre, executive secretary World Forum of Alternatives, member of the International Council of the World Social Forum of Porto Alegre and president of the International League for the Rights and Liberty of the People.

Professor Houtart will participate and get involve with UNIALSUR project which will be an important help for international cooperation support for specific projects. He will also motivate academicians and students to collaborate and be part of the university community of UNIALSUR.

UNIALSUR is born as an alternative project for a university for creative y human experimentation towards predators and exclusive projects.

Meeting and cultural activities will be held from 27 to 30 of July at Finca Sonador, Cooperativa Longo-Mai, Km.164 de la Carretera Interamericana, Buenos Aires de Puntarenas, Costa Rica.
