From January 20th to February 5th the Escuela left for Costa Rica to participate in a festival of arts at the finca de Longo Maï where national (Alajuela, San José, Nicoya, San Isidro) and international artists (Nicaragua, Germany, Austria, Venezuela and others) were invited.

During the one week festival different activities in the day and the evenings took place. During the day different workshops (dance, theatre, circus, painting, sculpturing, photography and taekwondo) and lectures of literature and politics were offered. At night the Escuela presented parts of their show as well as other groups like musicians and story tellers.

Information about the Finca Longo Maï

After the festival the Escuela went on to Nosara, one of the beautiful beaches in the north of Costa Rica. On the way the group was asked to perform at the National University of Heredia close to San José where they received an enthusiastic applause.
During the five days at Nosara the group performed four shows in different places. They where welcomed for the fourth time here and the shows were a big success. Beside the shows there also was some time to enjoy the waves of the pacific ocean and some beautiful sunsets.
