Trash Devils and Recycling Angels
We are in the month of poetry in Granada. The IV International Poetry Festival where poets from 49 countries will stage on squares, streets, schools and neighborhoods of our beautiful colonial city from 12 to 16 February.
Visitors throughout Nicaragua as well as tourists from abroad (from the youngest to the oldest) will enjoy a week of poetry and Nicaraguan music and folk dances. For the first there will be a mime and circus show performed by the School of Comedy and Mime.
The School will also perform the "Trash Devils and Recycling Angeles" production in the Poetry Carnival parade to be held from the church of La Merced to the Great Lake Cocibolca. The good news this setup is that the school succeeded in attracting the youth of Granada to participate in our performance.
"Trash Devils and Recycling Angeles" will also participate in the Managua Carnival to be held on March 1st within the activities of Managua, Iberoamerican capital 2008 program.
